Korean Baseball Game — LG Twins vs Doosan Bears
WEDNESDAY, August 3 – Korean Baseball Game
We will take persons interested in experiencing a Korean baseball game to the Chamsil Baseball Stadium (used during the Olympics), to watch the LG Twins play the Doosan Bears. This is an inexpensive way to experience Korean culture, even if you aren’t a baseball fan – bands, cheerleaders, and cheap food – oh, and a baseball game too! Travel to and from the stadium on the subway, and tickets will be purchased at the gate (approximately $10). We’ll plan on sitting in the left field bleachers. For those playing in the poker tournament, we may meet at the stadium from the Casino as they are close together. Fun for all ages and no limit on those that may attend.
Click on your favorite team to sign up! (Just kidding…they both go to the same form.)
For those leaving from the hotel, meet in the lobby at 5 pm.
If you don’t have a subway pass, please make sure you get one before.
It takes about 35 minutes to get there from Euljiro-1gu.
For those going directly to the stadium and/or coming from the poker tournaments, let’s meet at Jamsil Baseball Stadium which is at the Sports Complex (종합운동장) station on line 2, exit 5 at 5:45 pm.
We will buy the tickets on site.
