Date: May 24, 2025
Location: Paris, France
On May 24, more than 400 members and friends of Racines Coréennes from across Europe, Korea, and the United States came together to celebrate the association’s 30th anniversary, marking three decades of connection, shared memories, and the building of a unique community rooted in common origins. The day-long celebration featured a rich and varied program, including cultural workshops for children, craft sales, lectures, reflections from past leaders, live concerts, a Korean dinner, a raffle, and a lively K-pop dance performance that delighted attendees of all ages. The event included programming led by DoKAD (Descendants of Korean Adoptees), highlighting the intergenerational continuity of the community.
Moon Seung Hyun, Korea’s Ambassador to France, attended and offered remarks alongside reflections from Racines Coréennes President Laurent Dumoulin and many former presidents of the association, collectively honoring the organization’s legacy while looking ahead to its future.
