Update Oct 29, 2022: Letter of thanks by Peter Tai Christensen, President of AKF
The board of AKF would like to extend a warm thank you to all members and supporting members who came and celebrated our fantastic association’s 35th anniversary.
In a time – and in an environment – that is challenging in many ways, it was so incredibly powerful to feel the strength and power that exists in our community.
We, on the board, want to thank you for all the kind words – both in the form of touching and heartwarming speeches, but also in the form of all the appreciation you showed in conversations with us throughout the anniversary weekend. It gives a lot of energy and joy to know that the association’s activities make a positive difference.
I wish you all a fantastic weekend – although we all know it most likely won’t be as wonderful as our anniversary weekend just completed.
Take care of yourselves, and each other.
